   During my attempts to install WordPress I always get the message "Error establishing a database connection". I have checked my connection info for MySQL and everything looks correct. I checked the error log under /wp-admin/ and found the following error listed for each time that I tried to complete the WordPress install:

   [19-Mar-2010 16:25:59] PHP Warning: PHP Startup: Unable to load dynamic library '/usr/local/lib/php/extensions/no-debug-non-zts-20060613/fileinfo.so' - /usr/local/lib/php/extensions/no-debug-non-zts-20060613/fileinfo.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory in Unknown on line 0

   Any ideas what could be causing this problem and how I can resolve the issue?

   Your installation of php is trying to load that file but it can't, you'll need to talk to your host about the problem. Or if it's your server try reinstalling php.
