   I've updated to v 2.5 yesterday and I got this error in my log:

   PHP Warning: Missing argument 1 for akismet_cron_recheck() in /public_html/wp-content/plugins/akismet/akismet.php on line 422

   A fix would be very appreciated.

   Where there any other details in your logs? So far I haven't been able to reproduce this.

   I'm sorry, but I didn't see anything else related to akismet. If I notice anything more I'll write it here.

   Sure, no problem.

   For issues with the Akismet WordPress plugin you can also drop a note at akismet.com/contact/

   I found the same issue we can found that messages on error_log, this is the real message :

   Hi Folks,

   I too received the same error intermittently after upgrading to Akismet 2.5. I have drop a mail to their support, hope they could shed some light.

   We've done more testing on this and it should be fixed in the next release, 2.5.1.
