PHP tag inside posts

I already have a plugin that enables using PHP inside posts, but everything I try to use it WordPress breaks the tag. When I save the post, all “<?php” tags are converted to “< ?php”, and I have to go to phpMyAdmin and edit the post directly in the database.

Is there a way of making WordPress stop messing the posts? 🙁

PS: I use the HTML editor, Visual editor is disabled
