    PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting ‘{‘ in /home4/oncefoot/public_html/wp-content/themes/sportedge-parent/functions.php on line 119

    I keep getting this error in error log as well as this:

    PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting ‘{‘ in /home4/oncefoot/public_html/wp-content/themes/sportedge-parent/functions.php on line 119

    The page error on chrome is this:

    No data received
    Unable to load the webpage because the server sent no data.
    Here are some suggestions:
    Reload this webpage later.
    Error 324 (net::ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE): The server closed the connection without sending any data.

    I’m useless with code any ideas?

    Your theme was not developed for use of a child theme.

    Using FTP or your host provided File Manager, make sure an un-edited version of the default theme for your version of WP is present in wp-content/themes/ then rename the current parent and child theme to old-foldername.

    Login to access site without these issues.

    When I do this I just get a white screen… and nothing loads at all. This is resetting the theme to default isnt it?

    the website when on the themes loads every now and again but then just won’t load to that error.

    That’s in main error log. Got errors everywhere

    make sure an un-edited version of the default theme for your version of WP is present in wp-content/themes/

    Well if I go into phpadmins and go to wp options and then second page and then change both the theme and child to default which should do the same thing as I tried before I still just get white screen with nothing

    Seems to just work on and off. Now website seems to just be working.
