I just upgraded to Captcha version 3.8.8. The first time I logged out after the upgrade I got these messages:

    ( ! ) Notice: Undefined index: cptch_str_key in C:\Users\dlingren\Documents\My Data\Data Files\Web Design\VirtualHosts\ftjdev\wp-content\plugins\captcha\captcha.php on line 417

    ( ! ) Notice: Undefined index: cptch_str_key in C:\Users\dlingren\Documents\My Data\Data Files\Web Design\VirtualHosts\ftjdev\wp-content\plugins\captcha\captcha.php on line 654

Subsequent log outs did not issue the messages, so it might be a one-time thing.

  • Hi David,

Yes, this non-recurrent error after updating to Captcha version 3.8.8 is possible. It is determined by changing the plugin’s functionality. Don’t worry, the error is non-recurrent and it won’t occur after reloading the page.

    Sincerely,
    Support Team
