[resolved] PHP lines and paragraph tags (5 posts)

Having a problem. When I put the <?php the_content(); ?> in, it automatically places a < p > tag infront so it makes a new paragraph. The same thing happens with the <?php wp_link_pages(); ?>. I want it to just skip one line, like in a <br> tag or have it not go on to a separate line at all. Any help would be definately appreciated since I don't really know what I'm doing. This is a result of WordPress's wpautop() function.

Try searching for options to disable it.

Still does not entirely fix my problem. While the wpautop() disable plugin removes the < p > tag before the_content() (yay!), it still places one after it...
