PHP index won't load properly (2 posts)

I've loaded WordPress on my server, and run the install successfully.

If I call the site by using http://midwestmeanderings.com , I get an index listing of the directory.
If I CLICK on index.php, or call the site by using http://midwestmeanderings.com/index.php , the page loads properly.
I've noticed that this seems to be the case with all php files here.
    Am I missing something?
    Thanks!
    Bob

  2. Your server needs to be configured to accept index.php as a default filename. It's probably only aware of index.htm and index.html at present.
