php files in uploads folder

    Hi – my query is, should there be php files in the wp-content/uploads folder? I noticed two there today – feed-file.php and feed-files.php – which I hadn’t noticed before, although the last modified date on them is the date I first installed WP, in 2011.

    Do these files need to be there? I have scanned them using AVG and malwarebytes and they come up clean, but I’m not sure about deleting them and what effect that might have on my installation. Thanks.
