   Hello,

   I just changed the theme of my site and the content area's width is smaller then the previous theme. As a result all the images ive posted on the previous posts are bigger than the content are and are destroying the theme by putting the sidebar on the bottom.

   Is there a piece of code that can detect every image from the post and add "/thumb.php?w=500&src=" before the image URL so that I can make all the image width fit into the content area

   you should look into the PhotoJAR plug-in.
