Google is indeed my friend; do you know of anyone who has implemented NNTP reader on their website
I can attest to the project dougal mentioned. Me and a couple of others (the original auth included) are in the process of proting over that reader to a CMS for use in portal (that’s PORTAL, not P0RNAL!) 😀 site…..
It’s good, stable, easy to use. Configuration is a bit of a biotch, but it works.

You can also checkout http://mynewsgroups.sourceforge.net . I’ve installed it at home and got it working. The only downside is that it doesn’t log into every nntp server, meaning that it may or may not work with your ISP but will on others.
