Hi!
Today I was a bit surprised to see that one of my wp-driven websites did not show up. All links to the domain, the wp-folder on the server and for example to the index.php ended in a quick blank page - no errors, no messages.
I figured out that all non-WP files work fine. After that I uploaded a phpinfo()-file that told me that my provider updated the PHP version to 4.4.0 this evening. I assume that upgrade and the blank wordpress are linked in a way.
Upgrading my WP 1.5.1.whatever to 1.5.2 (did it like described in the codex) did not change anything - still all blank. The installed phpBB-Board is not affected by the new php-version.

It is very urgent for the page is an official fan website and usually has big traffic!

Are there any entries in the web server error log that might shed light on this?
Do you have a .htaccess file? Try renaming it, to see if that may be causing some of the trouble.
Sounds like a server issue, did you contact your provider? I've used WP all the way up through PHP 5.whatever without a problem (well, initially with 5.0 but that was fixed a long time ago).

I am not the servers owner so I have no direct access to the server/provider. At some time today the website went on working again. Don't know yet what happened...

Hi Neoflow, I've got exaclty the same issue hosting upgrade to php 4.4.0 has killed wordpress... I see that your site linked to your profile is down, are you getting anywhere on resolving this issue ?

Its coming OK for me. Here's a screenshot.
Maybe its your browser issue or the page is not loading fully or some plugin(bad-behavior blocking your IP), if the issue isn't resolved yet.

I was checking http://neoflox.net/ - Which means the screenshot is good news & bad news, bad:- spent too much time trying get my site online & lost the ability to read properly, good:- wp & 4.4.0 must work ? - I think I should get some rest & try and contact him though his site in the AM :-)
