• Hello everybody.
I was making some changes to the default theme and went ahead and made a template for use in photoshop. Make it look how you want and then save for web and the slices will come out named correctly. Upload those and you are on your way. Revolutionary? no. Easy? yes.

Try is out and let me know if it helps. I’ve learned quite a bit using WP and I hope this helps someone out there.

  • How were you able to move the title of your blog. Was that part of the template?

That’s kind of like how Kubrick was released in the first place, before it became the Default Theme. I don’t know why Michael removed the PSD from the Kubrick v1.2.6 download, but thanks for bringing something like it back.

Yea, tepinhead, NOW you release this! 😉 (just kidding…)

A few weeks ago I went back to the old release and rebuilt it to match the new Kubrick in Fireworks. If anyone would prefer a Fireworks version vs. photoshop, let me know via inkmuser at yahoo dot com and I’ll share a copy of my .png file.

greendaypunk74: I moved the title by playing with the style.css file. Padding, alignment, etc. Trial and error.

macmanx: I read somewhere the other day about the kubrick psd and sure enough it was there. It is a little more complicated and specific to the kubrick theme so I just combined the images and put them in a file. I know for me if I have a little headstart I am more likely to try it.
