Hello,
I've looked around for a while but not seen any answers (or indeed seen it asked). Is it possible to have it so that in my gallery of flickr photosets, instead of launching a popup of the gallery, when clicked, it launches straight to the colorbox etc slideshow?

The question has been asked, and the answer is that it cannot be done. You can set it up so that the when you click on a thumbnail in the popup the slideshow starts instead of your having to navigate through the keyboard or mouse.
But basically getting the slideshow to start needs the images to be present somewhere, hence the intermediate popup panel.
