   Well something is broken all of a sudden. I'm trying to upload a photo to use as a new header which is how I discovered this. I upload a photo, it then goes to the whole "crop and then hit ok" area but it shows not photo, although the space for a photo is still there, if I hit ok it will show as uploaded but there will be no photo.

   If I go to media library there will be a entry for my photo but no thumbnail. If I click edit it will show a small version of my photo but that is all. Super weird issue... I've tried uploading from both Firefox 10 and IE 9 and I get the same issue so I think something happened to the upload mechanism of my wordpress installation but I have no idea how to fix it.

   Any ideas?

   Check your uploads path in Settings -> Media. It should be blank in most common installs.

   uuugh yup, somehow some garbage got in there. I can't believe it was such a simple fix, thanks for the quick reply!
