  • The reason the images aren’t working is because you have errors in your code. The image tags and the links they are wrapped in aren’t formatted correctly. You are missing quite a few < and >. Not sure what is causing that, but if the images are showing correctly in the editor, probably something wrong in the theme.

Thanks, dkotter. The weird thing is that it is only happening in this one post – the only post I have written since I updated to 3.3. I didn’t use drag and drop images in this post, just uploaded the old fashioned way. Not sure why the apostrophes would be missing though??

Usually when things like apostrophes are missing, it’s typically a issue with character encoding. I’m not an expert there, but it might give you something to go on.

Aha! I think I know what happened. I did a small update yesterday – inserted a couple extra sentences into the post – via the WordPress app. I’m pretty sure that’s where it all went wrong. I just went in and updated the post in WordPress on my computer and it rendered as it should.

RED ALERT: BE WARY OF THE WORDPRESS APP!!!
