Opinions required
Design:
I like the original template- should I alter it even though it suits the way I think the site should look. Is it to plain?
Content:
Diverse or really focused. I am loosely trying to promote a business although the main purpose of the blog is to give me writing and communication practice.
I would be really grateful for any opinions as my experience with blogs is limited although I do work with web sites and with graphic design.

The problem with using the unaltered template, without even changing the header is that it will look exactly like a thousand other sites.
On the content side, it depends on wheter you have the drive to write only on a particular topic, or have more diversity and less focus.

Thanks for taking a look.
I agree am going to have to bite the bullet and work on the template - have edited others e.g. blogger, siteframe, mambo but never WordPress.
Re content think I'll try to hit a balance between too focused and too all over thw place.
Liked your site esp the focus on human rights, kudos.
