photo with name

    I’m setting up a community blog, and I’m thinking about useing wordpress, but it needs to be able to display a photo with each username, sort of livejournal style. Is this possible with wp, perhaps with some minor hacking, my php skills are iffy, but I could trial and error my way through if pointed in the right direction. Any thoughts? Perhaps recomendations for a more suitable cms, preferably php based, css layout, with a clean intuitive setup, like wordpress.

    It could certainly be done in WordPress. You could just stick all the author photos in a directory, naming them after the username. You could then have WordPress echo that directory, the author name, and then the file extension.

    that’s what I was thinking, but I didn’t want to install it and spend half an hour reading through the php and then have to right in some kind of elaborate addition, but that’s pretty simple. I’ll give it try and then post a link here.
