Photo voting template

I am looking to start a website for sharing powerpoint slides. I am thinking about taking a screenshot of the title slide and putting them into a photo gallery. That way when people click on them, they are taken to the actual powerpoint. What I am wanting is a good way to let people vote on what powerpoints are best. I am thinking of using the NextGEN voting plugin, but is there a good theme or plugin alternative that you know about? I really like the expose theme. Any suggestions. I am new to WordPress, so if I should ask somewhere else, please let me know.
