Hi, I am relatively new to the wordpress system but am very quickly falling in love with it and feel it would be the perfect tool for an upcoming job.
The project is a company photo library, all promotional photographs taken for the company would be stored on the site and be searchable and downloadable.
Users could sign in, associate favourites with their user profile (similar to iStock lightboxes) and download the images in a choice of resolutions.
I have a few of questions at this stage
1. Do you think wordpress is the right tool for this job?
2. Do you think BuddyPress is the right tool for handling the user end of things
Also if anyof you have any tips, links to relevant tutorials, links to simialr systems using wordpress or plugin reccomendations I would love to hear them.
