phone friendly website. What am I doing wrong?

    As the name implies, I know little about wordpress.

    I need to make my website more friendly to Iphones

    My website is http://www.sundialsforlearning.com/
    I want to make this site mobile phone friendly

    My other site is http://www.sundialsforeducation.com/
    This has twenty twelve installed. I’m playing around with this site and trying to learn how to make this look like the other site. I haven’t gotten very far. I set it up as two column but it still looks like one column even though I’m using a pc. I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong

    W3schools is a great learning place on the web.
    Lynda.com is also good.

    Twenty Twelve is responsive.
    Hunt down a responsive theme you like and use it.
