personalized text widget?

    I tried to find something on this in the forums and plug in directory, but couldn’t find something that fit.

    I’d like a widget that allows me to target a personalized message to specific registered users. If user A comes to the site, I would have a widget that would deliver them html or text. If user B visits, I could serve them something different. For non-registered users I could serve up a message in that space (probably asking them to register).

    Anything out there? Any/All help greatly appreciated.
