• Hello, I would like to know what html tags are permitted into html mail. I suggest to write them into the template page, so everybody can know which ones can be used (I discovered that function accidentally reading the changelog).

I also read that in version 9 was introduced the shortcode {IMAGE}. I’ve tried to insert it into the template but no substitution took place. I’ve understood wrong the function of this tag?

  • @orion42,

Any and all HTML tags are allowed. Too many to list in the Settings page.

As stated in the ChangeLog the {IMAGE} keyword is for Subscribe2 HTM – the paid version – only.

I understand. Anyway you could write just “Any HTML tags is allowed.”

Hi. I’ve been trying to add HTML to my Subscribe2 templates, and some (not all) of it gets filtered out.

Not fancy stuff either, just trying to set or . Disappears. However, I can put in anchor tags, no problem.

I’m mystified. I can’t find anything in the settings to account for this or control this.

It’s probably important to mention that Subscribe2 emails themselves are being wrapped by WP Better Emails.
