Cool! I finally figured out that Interland had me as a MS SQL and they changed me over to MySQL. So Now I can at least connect to the DB Server with the VB Test. I updated the Config File, Saved it, uploaded it. Ran the Word press Install and it says that I don’t have a Config File? I would assume its something in Permissions in the .htaccess and or the MySQL Server, I don’t have any privledges yet on the server and am unsure how to set them up. Any experiences out there?

  • There should have been instructions on there that would have told you to take the config-sample.php file, make a copy, rename it to config.php (it might be wp-config-sample.php -> wp-config.php now that I think about it), edit it in a text editor and change the conneciton information (server name, database name, user name, password), and then upload it. Then run the install.

There was and I did it…BUT..it still see it as not having one and attempts to do it online..even though I changed it and uploaded it, settings tested out with VB_test also. I think the problem is in Permissions and not sure how to admin them with PHP so it will allow the changes.

K, Looks like it was resolved, had to reset my permissions through the admin control panel.
