Could someone explain to me how to redirect the WordPress 3.4.1.permalinks in our blog the Imagineer’s chronicles << http://www.theimagineershome.com/blog/ >> form the default format of http://www.theimagineershome.com/blog/?p=123 to http://www.theimagineershome.com/blog/2012/08/26/sample-post/
I’ve tried Googleing it and have found several site that try to but I’ve had no experience writing code and an nervous about crashing my site.
If there is a plugin that would simplify the process for me I appreciate someone would post a link.
Thank you

In your admin area go to settings - permalinks and set Day and name in there and that should do it.

Yes Seath but then all of the previous 146 post become unavailable. That is why I need to find a way to redirect the existing links with the formate http://www.theimagineershome.com/blog/?p=123 to http://www.theimagineershome.com/blog/2012/08/26/sample-post/

That's weird :( all your posts should be automatically updated.
Did you try to rename one of the posts permalink or slug after you change the setting, to see if its available?
