   I have a problem with two wpbdp-field-short-names as they contain Umlauts. I wanted to change that and changed it in the database. But the wpbdp-field-short-names got set back to the Umlaut version. How can I change them permanently?

   The field names are defined under Directory Admin->Manage Form Fields. The name comes from the title. So you might consider putting in a non-umlaut version first, and then saving the field. After that, change the title of the field to be the correct umlauted version. That may work around this.

   With all that said, why were the umlauts a problem?

   The CSV import didn't work with these fields.
