   I have a brand new site which is designed to use the static pages feature of WordPress.

   The site was working on my test space but issues have arisen since moving the site to the owner's space on a different host.

   The static pages work fine, however the blog categories and tags won't work. I would like to use either /sample-post/ or /post-name/ if possible but most of all I'd like everything to work.

   I have tried several different variations of permalinks, tried the index.php fix and looked at the custom 404 page redirect. All to no avail.

   I would appreciate any and all ideas
