   How can I change my site over to permalinks without ruining everything? I clicked on it and it said 404 on everything, even the index was all messed up.

   I had the webhost restore my site since then.

   I tried all kinds of stuff like editing htaccess and whatnot, stuff I found from here. My host is namecheap.com. Any help?
