Permalinks stopped working- File manager empty??

Hi there

Yesterday morning my website was working fine (www.ausagventures.com)

Then sometime in the day the permalinks just stopped working and I got a 404 error message on every post and page

I called my hosting service and they said it’s not at their end, but they did notice my file manager is empty and it looks like the browser is being redirected to a place with no files

When I changed my permalink settings back to default, everything is working fine again. So I tried changing them back to “post” settings and I get the 404 error message.

I’ve hired some people to look into it but no one really knows what is going on. I’ve deactivated all plugins but no change so I reactivated them.

All of the content is still there. And all I can think of is that I did a plugin update the day before, but like I said I deactivated them and nothing happened…
