   here is my link http://www.hammerbridge.com/services-2/mobile-commerce
   for some reason my page services shows as "services-2" and i have my permalinks set up as numberic and this was default previously. any idea on how to get rid of the #2 ???

   you ca read here for a great explanation of how permalinks work

   But to sum it up, you must have something else called services (maybe a categroy or something) that is already a term in your permalinks

   or...if its a page, you may have a copy of the page in your trash. If you make a page or post and trash it, but do not empty your trash, and make another post or page with the same name, the item in the trash still exists....so a number is appended to the url. You can empty your trash to remedy that

   the trash idea worked. I had a page previously defined as services and for some reason i deleted it and created another one which resulted in services-2
