    My blog: http://www.askmicheleweeks.com/blog

None of the permalinks will bring me to the full article with the comments page.

Also, at bottom of page, the link that should bring the reader to older postings does not work.

I am always brought to an error page that says the configuration is set in a way that the webpage will never be retrieved?????

    Any help is appreciated.

whats in the .htaccess that is inside your blog directory?

and whats inside the .htaccess that in the directory above that?

what are your 2 urls set to in the wqp-admin area?

youre rewriting www to non www urls. why is that, when even you used the www here?

I wish I could answer those questions, but it's way over my head.

youre rewriting www to non www urls. why is that, when even you used the www here

I used my main blog address because the individual permalink address to each individual post doesn't work.
If you go to the blog you can try it yourself and see that you get taken to an error page.

Also, I never access my blog directory so I don't how that could have been changed to create this problem.

Thanks for your help. Sorry, that most of your suggestions are beyond my scope of using WP.

BTW, this is the error message I get:

The browser has stopped trying to retrieve the requested item. The site is redirecting the request in a way that will never complete.

    * Have you disabled or blocked cookies required by this site?
    * NOTE: If accepting the site's cookies does not resolve the problem, it is likely a server configuration issue and not your computer.

I know the message youre getting - thats not what I asked.

    Look inside your .htaccess files.

    what do they say?

Look at where you go after you click the link to your site above -- you are taken to a site without the WWW

thats the rewriting I am talking about.

Look insode your wp-admin/options or settings tab to figure out what your 2 urls are.

These are not difficult questions, if you set up this blog yourself.

if you cant answer those questions, I cant go any further in this thread.

Whooami is assuming you have FTP access, and know how.

Like I said, the language you are using is difficult for me to understand and follow. Yes, I did set this blog up myself through Yahoo! and I never had to access the ftp files.

From my settings tabs I see my WP URL and my Blog URL are:
    http://askmicheleweeks.com/blog

They are both the same. They always were the same.
This problem with the permalinks is something new that has begun yesterday.

    thanks again.

This is the web address (should be the permalink for my post) that appears at the top of the error page I am receiving.

Whooami is assuming you have FTP access, and know how.

I am assuming that. Ive yet to find a host that doesnt allow ftp access, and that site is hosted on yahoo, which does provide it.

I still can't rectify this problem.

Anyone else there who can possibly help?
    Thanks,
    Michele
