Not sure what is going on with this site, but the homepage loads correctly. But if you click on any of the posts / pages / categories, it comes up with a blank page. Permalink formatting is:
http://domain.com/category/post/
Now if you take the slash off the end, the page not only comes up but redirects to the above structure. Any ideas?

Might need to be a little more specific on what area of this page I need to look at. Think it's a .htaccess issue?
It could well be a permalink issue. Your choice of permalink structure is not good.

It's not mine fortunately - someone else's site. Just don't understand how removing the slash gets it to redirect to the URL with the slash at the end but doesn't load properly in the beginning.

It gets worse - can't even login to the dashboard to look at the permalink setting.
Why?

Just redirects back to the login page - even if you try to have it go directly to the wp-admin area.
Never seen anything like it.
Have you tried renaming the .htaccess file?
