    Hey guys,

I just activated a theme which automatically created a bunch of pages(like work, contact etc.) - However, I had already created those pages before activating the theme ... so I got a bunch of duplicates.

Then, I accidentally deleted the wrong pages, the old ones, leaving me with new empty pages with permalinks like "domain.com/work-2", "domain.com/contact-2". One thing is having to rebuild the content, but the permalinks I can't seem to get back. I've permanently deleted the old pages from the trash, but I still can't get my old permalinks back.

Does anyone know of a workaround?

Whoops, looks like I headed to the forums a little too fast. The theme actually created 2 new sets of pages, meaning i had 3 contact pages, 3 about pages etc, and my old pages were still there i had just deleted one set of duplicates.

I tried to delete this post but couldn't find any way to do that from the post or edit post pages.

Maybe resaving your permalink structure under Settings > Permalinks will help
