   I'm using this /%category%/%postname% as my custom permalink structure. It's pretty standard, I use it on my other sites too, but for some reason on this particular site, it keeps on adding a number to the end of the link...any idea why this could be happening?

   Example: http://talksfu.ca/about-3

   Go to Edit Pages > Trash then delete the original page with the permalink slug, and then go to the new page to update the permalink.

   This will allow you to update the permalink without wordpress automatically adding the number.
