Permalink truncated when post title ends with "y" (6 posts)

I'm using WordPress 3.2.1 on two different blogs, with two different themes (Thesis on one, and a custom theme on another), and have observed that when I write a new post whose title ends in the letter "y", the "y" is dropped from the permalink. If I manually edit the permalink to reinsert the "y", it is dropped again as soon as I click OK. If I manually edit the permalink to end with "y/", then it sticks. In case it matters (maybe it's a JavaScript issue?), I'm using Chrome as my browser.

What plugins are you running that are the same on both those blogs?

The only plugins they have in common are Akismet and jQueryColorbox.

Are they using the same themes?

As mentioned in the original post, they are using two different themes.

    Sorry, brain fart.

There's nothing in WP itself that should be able to do that... I'd try turning off all the plugins to see if it magically goes away.
