Permalink Structure - 404 error? (3 posts)

    Hi, I installed wordpress on my computer (using Xampplite) and if I select a permalink structure (3rd one) I get a 404 error.

    However on my website (old one) I can view it successfully. Why is this so?

    Same setup? Do you have all the requirements on the new PC?

    The new pc is my own PC. Running xampplite so I don't really know the Apache configurations. I have copied the .htaccess from the working site's root folder to the many .htaccess I have on my localhost.

    I think its a Apache configuration.
