   My server is Netfirms and I cannot change my permalinks to be pretty.

   Here is my server software...
   SERVER_SOFTWARE=Apache/1.3.34 (Unix) mod_fastcgi/2.4.2 mod_perl/1.26

   When I change the structure of my permalinks and click on a post the page refreshes with the changed permalink in the address bar but the page refreshes and remains the main blog page...not the individual post. Any help would be appreciated.

   Do a search here for your host - and you'll see the "nice" permalinks never worked on that host's servers. Run away from them.
