    I have a problem with one of Brian Gardner's excellent themes - Blue Zinfandel 3-Column.

    There appears to be a problem with this theme with regard to the way it returns posts.

    For example, on the Free Tickets site, the number of posts on the "Options/Reading/Blog Pages .. Show at most .. posts" is set to 10. However, there are more than this number of posts (I've tried various numbers) and so a link appears at the bottom of the page .. "next". So far so good.

    However, this is a broken link at it returns a 404 Page Not Found Error. I've tried changing all of the permalink structures but to no avail.

    Do you know how I can fix this?

    Here's the code from my theme:

    <div class="navigation">
    <div class="alignleft"><?php next_posts_link(__('&laquo; Previous Entries')) ?></div>
    <div class="alignright"><?php previous_posts_link(__('Next Entries &raquo;')) ?></div>
    </div>

    funkster: Your .htaccess settings appear to be incorrect, somehow. The link shows up as pointing to /index.php/page/2, but this URL gets redirected to just /page/2. That's not right.

    I just thought I'd update you on this. It's a hosting issue. My hosting platform is Zeus and not Apache. This means anything that uses mod_rewrite will not work properly as the Zeus platform has rewrite rules but they are completely different to the syntax that mod_rewrite(apache) use.

    No idea what to do now though - lol!

    All help humbly accepted!

    Gangleri - which file is that taken from pls?
