   Hiya!

   I'm running wordpress on a BitNami stack, and I'm having issues with permalinks. I've tried these methods: http://bitnami.org/forums/forums/wordpress/topics/pretty-permalinks-not-working

   but BitNami disconnects, and my terminal sites a syntax error when restarting the sql / php etc.

   Any suggestions? I'm new to bitnami, generally I use MAMP, but MAMP kept gapping out on me.
