   Hello wordpress forum users -
   I am working on setting up a new blog and I will have posts in categories named after cities
   for example - categories are: new-york, chicago, pittsburgh, san-diego

   Is it possible to have the link structure
   mydomain.com/category

   so mydomain.com/chicago or mydomain.com/pittsburgh

   I have tried this on my site but I can only get
   mydomain.com/category/new-york

   I think I have a solution - I used this plugin WP No Category Base

   http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-no-category-base/installation/

   It worked with WordPress 3.0
