   Hi there,

   I downloaded one theme from freepremiumwp.com, installed it and it works fine. But that theme is really slow (7 seconds to load), so I remove all images (to be sure that images don't slow the page) and started to investigate which part is the slowest.
   After few tries I noticed in the footer following error:

   Warning: mysql_fetch_array(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home4/freeprem/public_html/adbrute/class/crdb.php on line 780
   and under it is link to freepremiumwp.com. So I assume that there is some problem connected with freepremium.com.

   This warning is generated from wp_copyrighted(); in theme footer.php.
   I can't remove it because of copyright protection.

   I tried to find contact on designer of this theme (mail on freepremiumwp.com support is faulty and mail was not delivered), but I didn't find any mail on him.

   Is there some way to remove this protection? Or could you advise me please?

   have this same error, and from what i can see there are hundreds more custom theme users out there how two have this issue.

   I have been looking for a fix and also have contacted the custom theme makers but to no avail.

   I can but ask here again and give a gentle nudge and ask if anyone has i direction to point us in then please post here and help us out.

   I know the proper fix would be to start again with a recognized theme, but for some of us time and the knowledge is not there.

   Yes - download themes from a reputable source such as http://wordpress.org/extend/themes/

   Yeah i thought someone would say this and have to agree like i wrote above is the correct direction to go, but being human and well some times lazy just wondered if there was away around the issue we all have.

   But okay i deserved that comment :)

   Not if you're downloading themes with encrypted or hidden links from dubious sites. sorry :-(

   I was really frustrated with it, so I downloaded the theme from other website and it works.
   I wrote them mail about copyright and one kind woman answered me with informations about contract between designers and their free portal and it "seems legit". So I got fast and nice free template. :)

   All WordPress themes should be release under GPL - which means that you should be able to change any part of the theme without it falling over. Designers/portals that offer free themes that do not allow such editing are in breach of GPL.
