• Since I installed this plugin, my website became extremely slow. Note that I had widget showing random polls on every page. I disabled the plugin – the website performance back back to normal. No performance issues if I disable the YOP poll widget. I can’t really give you a demo of the problem because the plugin is disabled at the moment, but I hope somebody else will be able to confirm.

My further investigations revealed the following.

Performance issues seem to appear when two (same or different) polls appear at the same time on one page which happens when I show a post with a YOP shortcode, for example, [yop_poll id=”2″], AND a poll in the widget area. Performance issues show as hour glass in the radio button voting area.

Maybe there is a conflict and the plugin doesn’t know how to process this situation?

YOP: could you try this scenario on your web site since I had to disable the plugin again.

    Hi Greybox,

We will look into this and try to come up with a solution as soon as possible.

    Best wishes,
