Perfect for standardized display of images

My website is a newspaper, so images on the cover, as well as inside of articles, should be displayed according to rules set by the theme template, NOT manually positioned in the post editor. This plugin was the absolute perfect tool to accomplish this, and works much better than my previous solution, which was a hack.

I would “attach” an image to a post by adding it in the “add media” box, but not actually inserting it, then I would retrieve it using the usual methods. I did not like this because it was a clunky way of attaching, and it also offered no support for captioning and other metadata.
