Pending Posts count badge

I would like to have a pending post count badge on the dashbar that appears at the top of my website (for the logged in administrator). Basically, what is there now for the comments, I would like to see a similar badge for pages that are pending approval.

I have tried searching for a widget, but I am coming up short. Anyway that I can easily achieve this?

The link just shows the comments badge in the latest version (as at today 3.2.1) of wordpress, what I’d like to see is a “Posts” badge, or “Pending” badge for those posts that are pending approval
