Are there any forms plugins that generate pdf files and email them?

Working on migrating a Drupal site to a wordpress and I can currently do this. It’s a nice feature for the people that handle the form submissions to have the pdfs.

    Thanks all for the time.

Is this not possible with wordpress?

http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/pdf24-posts-to-pdf/ might do what you want but if not do some searching.

Thanks for responding. I’ve searched the site and Internet and have found a few older links of people requesting but nothing recent. Hard to believe but it doesn’t seem like it’s possible with wordpress.

The site I’m looking to convert has several grant/donation request forms. Having a .pdf of the requests/emails come in very handy for them.

    Thanks.

Seems like you should be able to just include a link to the PDF version – which browsers will then download automatically. You don’t need a plug-in to do that — just use the HTML code and upload the file to wherever you want to store it.

Oh, sorry, I may have misunderstood your situation — do people fill out the forms online? And then you want to be able to email them to yourself?

Yes. The public complete a form on the site and the completed submission turned into a pdf and emailed to the administration staff.

I’m currently using a drupal module called webform and webform2pdf that uses tcpdf on the server to auto-generate the pdf.

Yes, I agree that it seems like there should be a plug-in that would do that…don’t know of any though. Maybe post on the “feedback & requests” forum and hope someone will create one.

anyone have solution for this problem?? because I’m having the same problem here.. I need forms plugins that generate pdf files and email them..

    Thank You

Contact Adobe. Unknown to many are the legal requirements of using such for commercial purposes it seems (it’s proprietary).

I’ve not found anything and I’m really surprised there isn’t a plugin or 2 already available for this.
Not to start comparing but Drupal and some other CMS I’ve worked with have modules for this for some time. I’m wondering about the “Gravity Forms PDF” would some how work I’d spring for a GF license if it did.
