   Hi, what i want to achieve is a page that i can make PDF or even DOC newsletter archive available where i can add a title/date and perhaps some descriptive text.

   I see there are some download managers around if i could upload a pdf then easily add it to a list on page that would be ideal.

   I know i could probably just make a page and use media upload but i would rather have more control over the downloads and besides someone else will be updating the site and it needs to be as simple as possible.

   I think I just replied to the other thread where you mentioned this issue, but this is definitely the most straightforward (if manual) method of creating a page of newsletters for download.

   An alternative might be Download Monitor.

   im have a couple of issues in the php script though, as you will see there is a widget script in the code, but i want to style the link it produces, im not sure what im looking for in the PHP though, im good with CSS though so want to assign a class.
