• Hi guys,

I have an issue when editing image.

After i edit any image and only change its thumbnail, it creates a totally new image (filename wise), so my question is, How do i refer to taht image in posts, because when i use the include image window i only see the size options there, and whenever i choose “Thumbnail” it makes reference to the original thumbnail “http://whatever.com/uploads/image-150×150.jpg”. But when i see the uploads folder i have a “http://whatever.com/uploads/image-28902138901238902-150×150.jpg” file which is the thumbnail i want to use.

In other words, how do i select that new image to be included in my posts, pages, etc. I thought cropping an image and saving the thumbnail would replace the original thumbnail created when the image was uploaded.

    Thanks in advance
    Alex

    Any help here?

    Thanks!

Same here. I investigated on this and it looks like thats simply not implemented. If you want this to work you might just have to fix WordPress by yourself..

I hope I’m able to fix this and submit it to the WordPress guys.
