pasted text is truncated

    Any text pasted from either Word or text editor shows up correctly as pasted, but when the page is previewed or saved, the all but two lines or so of text is deleted. Text can be typed directly with no problem.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated, since this is a new setup that will require a lot of typing if I can’t get the paste function to work.

    That’s good.

    Not so good and really weird. You’re running WordPress 3.9.1 (you really want to upgrade to 3.9.2 BTW) can you try some temporary troubleshooting steps?

    1 – Switch to the Twenty Fourteen theme
    2 – Deactivate all of your plugins
    3 – Clear your browsers cache and cookies
    4 – Login again and paste Word into a new post and save it.

    When you do that do you still lose 2 lines of text?
