Since I have cPanel control over my server, I'm thinking about password protecting the wp-admin folder through that. I've tested it out, but I'm running into a couple of problems:
1. Registered users -- for whatever reason when I password protect wp-admin the registration form requires a password (it's not in the wp-admin folder). I can use login redirect to force them back to the home page, but what's going on with the registration process?
2. Flash uploader doesn't work. I can upload using browser upload, but not the flash. Any ideas?
