password protected post – question

    Hi, beyond my most recent entries I have my previous posts password protected. I have an issue with this feature, if you enter the password to view the post, it logs the password, but it takes you back to the main page, rather than to the post that you were trying to read. Is this an error? Does anyone know how I can fix it so that when you enter in the password it lets you into THAT post, and not back to the main page?

    Hi, I resolved this issue and Im posting the resolve, in case anyone else has come across this problem:

    The issue was that I did not have a “single.php” file in my layout, once I added that the problem was resolved.
