password protected post invisible?

hello everyone,

I have several password protected posts on my website – suddenly, they don’t appear anymore. It seems, as if wordpress is turning them into private posts. unchecking the password, they are clearly visible again.

I’m using List Category Post and Global Password Post plugins, but even when I deactivate them (or all the plugins via ftp), it doesn’t change. As well, today I tried to change in wp-login.php to change the cookie expiration time, but the file is on default now.

What went wrong and how can I fix this? I’d be very happy to get an answer..
